The Unseen Battle and the Nearness of God (Daniel 10:1-21)
Daniel 10 reveals that there is more happening in our lives than what we can see. As Daniel mourns and seeks God, he is shown that a real spiritual conflict is taking place behind the scenes. Yet even in the delay and silence he experiences, God has already heard him and is already at work. This passage calls us to move away from self-reliance and toward a life of humble dependence through prayer and seeking.
At the same time, Daniel’s experience points beyond itself. The battle he glimpses is not ultimate. In Christ, the decisive victory has already been won. We do not pursue God to be loved or to earn His nearness, but because we are already loved and He has already drawn near to us. This reshapes how we pray, how we wait, and how we live.
If you are feeling the weight of life or struggling to understand what God is doing, this passage invites you to draw near. God hears. God works. And in Christ, your hope is secure. Join us as we continue walking through Daniel together.
